The Disability Support Services (DSS) office at Fullerton College advocates the integration of qualified students with disabilities into the mainstream of Fullerton College’s programs and services. Spring 2020 Registration

Registration for Spring 2020 begins on Monday, November 18. Registration appointments are posted in MyGateway. If you have questions regarding your registration date, contact Admissions & Records at (714) 905-5162.

The DSS counselors have the following time slots available for walk-in registration assistance. Have a list of potential classes in mind and be aware that the counselor will only be meeting with each student for 15 minutes.

Friday, November 22: Last day to schedule appointments for final exams
Thursday, November 28 – Sunday, December 1: Thanksgiving Holidays, campus closed

Saturday, December 14: Last day of Fall 2019 semester

DSS Updates

See’s Candies Fundraiser

Each fall the Disability Support Services office, in partnership with North Orange Continuing Education’s DSS office, sponsors a See’s Candies fundraiser. This year’s fundraiser will be held October 7 – November 1, 2019.

All orders must be received in the DSS office by noon on Friday, November 1.

All funds raised from the candy sales are used to augment the scholarship monies designated for DSS students at the Fullerton College’s Foundation Office.

New Student Suggested Timeframes to Submit Documentation

Please note that you can submit documentation and apply for services at any time. The dates below are suggested timeframes set to best ensure that services/accommodations are in place for that particular semester.

Spring 2020: DSS encourages students to submit documents and have them reviewed by October 31, 2019 in order to ensure that services are in place for the spring semester.

Summer 2020: DSS encourages students to submit documents and have them reviewed by April 1, 2020 in order to ensure that services are in place for the summer semester.

Fall 2020: DSS encourages students to submit documents and have them reviewed by April 15, 2020 in order to ensure that services are in place for fall semester.

DSS Appointment Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment for any reason, you MUST cancel at least 24 hours in advance. If you are a “no-show”, or you cancel with less than 24 hour notice, the earliest available date for your rescheduled appointment will be at least two weeks from the date of the “no-show” or late cancellation.
