Reduced Course Load

A reduced course load is approved on an individual basis through an interactive process between the student and a DSS LD Specialist. This accommodation is approved when a student’s disability prevents them from successfully completing the full-time, 12 unit course load required by programs such as EOPS.

How to Request a Reduced Course Load Verification for EOPS:

1. Complete the Reduced Course Load Verification form
2. A DSS staff member will send a verification email directly to EOPS.
3. Please note, this verification process only needs to be done once each academic year.
