Please write two or more paragraphs on one of the following topics: how you learn, your current mentor or support in your life, how you are ready for academic success, how you find humor in life, what kind of learner you see yourself as, why you are in college, particular struggles and obstacles in your past, your hope for the future, or ANY other topic that may interest you more.

Please do not use assistance with grammar and spelling. I want to know how YOU write, not how the computer or your friend writes. The sample is used to find an appropriate place to start in the writing curriculum. The sample will not be graded, copied, saved or returned by the instructor.

Directions:

1. Open a new document in Microsoft Word.
2. In the text field write your entire name first.
3. Next, compose your writing sample in the text field.
